Kuranui Lodge
Kuranui Lodge is located in a picturesque valley surrounded by native bush, well away from the hustle of everyday life. The kuhatahi streem winds its way around three sides of the lodge making this a tranquil and very relaxing venue.
The straw bale lodge with the array of rich native timbers coupled with the massive stone fireplace and natural stone paving give Kuranui Lodge an ageless, rustic yet elegant mystique.
Bar facilities
Kuranui Lodge is fully licenced and carries a wide range of New Zealand beers and wines as well as other alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages.
Catering
At Kuranui Lodge we can seat up to 100 guests and offer a complete catering service. Menus are specially tailored to suit your budget and desires, plattered finger food, plated meals or the ultimate buffet including specialty venison followed by a delicious plated dessert.
Mel prepares all meals from locally grown produce and meats are cooked to give a unique Kiwi wilderness smokey flavour.

Kuranui Lodge
Optional Group activities include target shooting with rifle and shotgun. Full training and supervision is given by experienced operators. These activities suit women and men alike, available to all ages and are interesting, exciting and as competitive as you would like them to be.
